Location: Shoal Bay NSW - Port Stephens Council

Project Management of our renovation projects is one of the most exciting stages for us to have the opportunity to complete. From an original 1960's apartment to newly renovated in just a few weeks, our clients were so impressed when they first walked in.

The Bel Mare apartment sits high, overlooking the coastline of Shoal Bay, one of the most sought after locations in Port Stephens. The original 2 bedroom apartment was drenched in its 60’s roots, with wallpapered ceilings, shaggy carpets and closed areas that restricted light flow.

The brief was to undertake an internal renovation to create a light filled and functional home, while retaining its original soul.

Much of the interior inspiration derived was from the home’s original aesthetic so careful selection was given to the choice of tile and feature wallpapers, tones of wood grain and textures that saw the home being brought back to life.

Every room in this eclectic space has its own personality and distinct features. Ranging from luxe wallpaper patterns, built in bunk and storage nooks, to brushed nickel detail and a palette that remains faithful to its midcentury modern origins.

The kitchen was a space that required a massive overhaul. By eliminating the kitchen wall, slightly reconfiguring the layout and with careful selection of materials and furnishings we were able to completely flood the heart of the home with light to create an environment that the home owners could look forward to retreating to everyday.
