This client design brief was to achieve a comfortable, sustainable and impressive family home that was designed to create an oasis, maximising passive airflow whilst also minimising the western solar impact.
This modern 4 bedroom home slopes down to the NNW with a view over the wetlands and off to the ranges. Features include an impressive island "the heart of the home", large kitchen and open living looking out to the pool.
Key designs elements include high raked ceilings with highlight windows, open plan living, a study that can be connected to the living space but also closed off when needed, a seperate media space, and a servery window out to the alfresco.
