We often get told that working with us is a breeze; fun, yet structured. Our fabulous team consists of 8 empowered and passionate individuals - each with their own specialised areas. With over 20 years of combined experience in building design, it's safe to say we've got experience in our corner.

Zoe, Creative Director
The heart and soul of YHD!
Zoe is the director of YHD and has been practicing in the industry since 2013. She's traveled near and far around Australia to pursue her design career, and always left a lasting impact on future designs in those cities. Zoe is passionate about growing a great team and helping them to achieve their dreams, creating a fun and enjoyable workplace, renovating & building with her husband & designing beautiful, sustainable homes.
Emma, Office Manager & Trainee Building Designer
Currently completing a Bachelor in Building Design
Our office angel and the first point of contact for all initial YHD enquiries!
Emma handles the day-to-day administrative tasks and assists the team with client communication. Emma is passionate about connecting and building authentic relationships, designing her dream church renovation and living a wholesome life. She's also in the middle of her journey to become a Building Designer so watch this space!
Sammy, Building Designer
Bachelor in Building Design
Our secret weapon!
An integral member of the YHD team since 2018, Sammy has designed hundreds of homes for YHD clients. She's always ready to step out of her comfort zone and loves projects that require a combination of problem-solving skills and creativity! Sammy is passionate about creating beautiful homes for clients, renovating her own home and sustainability.
Roxy, Senior Town Planner
Bachelor of Environmental Science & Management
A passionate lover of the environment and all things outdoors!
Roxy is a Port Stephens local with almost 15 years of Environmental Planning experience. She's intelligent, tenacious and incredibly passionate about her work - a big tick from us!
When it comes to Town Planning, Roxy is most definitely the woman you want (and we want) on your team.
Beth, Building Designer
Diploma in Building Design & Diploma in Interior Design
YHD's creative wiz and technical project specialist!
Born into and raised by a home of incredibly talented creatives [artists, product designers and watercolourists], Beth was destined for a career as a creative. Putting her creative mind to use, Beth set her sights on the design industry and has never looked back. Whether it's a new build or a renovation, Beth is passionate about designing dream homes that will grow with the clients.
Breanna, Building Designer
Bachelor of Architecture & Masters of Architecture
The calming and motivating presence for our office!
Breanna's an enthusiastic and motivated designer, with a passion for creating beautiful and timeless spaces. Breanna is currently working towards a goals to become a registered architect within NSW.
Since starting at YHD, Breanna has blown us away with her fearless attitude when it comes to pushing herself out of her comfort zone and her drive to grow as a Designer. We couldn't be more excited to have Breanna on the YHD team and know she'll create some breathtakingly beautiful spaces for our clients.
Alahna, Building Designer
Bachelor of Architecture. Currently completing a Master of Architecture.
Having worked as a team leader in the industry for 3 years, Alahna is excited to bring her experience, fresh perspective and new ideas to our team. A lover of our brand and the YHD ethos, she couldn't help but jump at the opportunity to join us - and we're so grateful she did! We can already tell our clients are going to LOVE her.
Olivia, Interior Designer
Diploma of Interior Design & Decoration
Liv is our newest member at YHD and wow does she bring some energy! She is qualified in Interior Design & Decoration, having graduated in 2019. Liv is most passionate about designing timeless spaces for clients to enjoy. When she’s not renovating her own home, you’ll generally find her exercising with friends and is a big coffee lover!
Tamara, Interior Designer
An eye for timeless, stylish and aesthetic designs.
Originally from the beautiful city of Lisbon Portugal, Tamara has always been surrounded and inspired by a range of architectural and interior design styles. After making the move to Australia, she decided to pursue her passion and bring her Mediterranean flare to the interior design world of The Bay.
The growing team at YHD takes pride in all works big or small, whether it be a new home, renovation, extension, or a simple deck.
