A Proud Moment for YHD: Three HIA Women in Business Finalist Nominations

We’re incredibly excited to share some special news from the Your Home Designs team, with Zoe Pohlmann and Emma Glanville named finalists in the HIA Women in Business Awards across three categories.

It’s a wonderful recognition of two women who play such an important role in shaping Your Home Designs, our team, our culture and the experience we create for our clients.

Zoe Pohlmann | Professional Business Woman Finalist

Our Founder and Creative Director, Zoe Pohlmann, has been named a finalist in the Professional Business Woman category. Since founding Your Home Designs in 2013, Zoe has grown the business from an idea into an established building design and interiors studio that has now worked across more than 800 projects. Her passion for considered design has always gone hand in hand with a strong entrepreneurial drive. Zoe continues to push the business forward, explore new opportunities and challenge the way we think about homes, development and the role good design can play in creating better outcomes for our clients. Being recognised as a finalist in the Professional Business Woman category is an exciting acknowledgement of that journey and everything still to come.

Zoe Pohlmann | Business Mentor/Leader Finalist

Zoe has also been named a finalist in the Business Mentor/Leader category, recognising another incredibly important part of the role she plays at YHD. For Zoe, leadership has never simply been about growing a successful business. It’s also about creating opportunities for others to grow alongside it. From sharing her knowledge and experience to encouraging new ideas and supporting the development of our team, Zoe has helped create a studio where collaboration, learning and progression are genuinely valued. We’re incredibly proud to see the impact she has on the people around her recognised alongside her achievements in business.

Emma Glanville | Executive Leadership Finalist

Our Director of Operations & Culture, Emma Glanville, has been named a finalist in the Executive Leadership category. Emma is an integral part of Your Home Designs, working across the people, operations and culture that keep our studio moving forward. Her leadership is felt throughout the entire business. From supporting our team and strengthening the way we work together to continually refining our systems and helping create an effortless experience for our clients, Emma brings an incredible level of care, consideration and commitment to everything she does. Her ability to balance people and performance has played an important role in YHD’s continued evolution, and we couldn’t be prouder to see her leadership recognised at an industry level.
