Celebrating a big milestone for the women of Your Home Designs

A well-earned win

Zoe Pohlmann, Founder and Creative Director of Your Home Designs, has been named the winner of the Business Mentor/Leader award at the 2026 Hunter Building Women Awards, presented by HIA.

Over 13 years, Zoe has built Your Home Designs from a sole operation into a nationally recognised, female-led studio delivering integrated building and interior design services. She's championed design excellence and innovation throughout, and just as importantly, created real opportunities for women in an industry that's traditionally been male-dominated. Under her leadership, YHD has delivered more than 900 projects, expanded its reach nationally, picked up award-winning recognition along the way, and built a workplace where wellbeing, flexibility and professional growth genuinely sit at the centre of how the business runs.

More finalists, more to celebrate

The recognition didn't stop there. Zoe was also a finalist in the Executive Leadership and Professional Businesswoman categories, and Emma Glanville, our Director of Operations, was named a finalist in the Executive Leadership category alongside her.

Three finalist placements and a win, from one studio, in one awards program. It's the kind of night that's worth sitting with for a moment.
