Designed to embrace its prime Northern aspect and breathtaking lakefront position, Shoreline House is a home made for both everyday enjoyment and long-term family memories. With 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, a sparkling pool, double garage, internal lift, open-plan kitchen, living and dining, plus a separate rumpus and games room with bar, every corner of this home has been thoughtfully crafted for ease, comfort, and fun.

The Design Brief

The client brief was clear, design a timeless, coastal-inspired home that supports the couple as they age, while also being the ultimate retreat for their adult children and grandchildren. At Your Home Designs (YHD), we take your vision and transform it into a reality that’s built to be enjoyed now, and for decades to come.

A Modern Coastal Masterpiece

Shoreline House combines clean architectural lines with natural textures, expansive decks, and layered detailing, creating everyday luxury with lasting durability. Vaulted ceilings, stacked stone features, and louvred screens frame stunning lake views, while every detail has been carefully considered for performance in a coastal setting.

Clever Pool Placement

The pool at Shoreline House is more than just a design feature, it’s a private, sun-drenched oasis. By positioning it to shield from harsh Northerly winds, we created a space that can be enjoyed year-round without compromise. This is coastal living that’s as practical as it is beautiful.

Future-Proofing with Lift Provisions

Incorporating a lift during construction can be costly, but at YHD, we design with the future in mind. In this case, a lift void was included, allowing for a seamless installation down the track. This ensures the home remains functional and adaptable as needs change, without sacrificing today’s lifestyle.

Exterior Selections

Our Exterior Colour Selections package helped the Shoreline House clients achieve a cohesive, timeless coastal aesthetic. By carefully crafting a colour schedule and updating the 3D model with selected finishes, the clients could visualise exactly how every element would come together. The result is an exterior that complements the lakeside setting beautifully, balancing material, tone, and finish perfectly.

Alfresco Living Done Right

The alfresco area truly captures the relaxed coastal vibe of Shoreline House. James Hardie Linea weatherboards with corner soakers, paired with aluminium louvres, strike the ideal balance between form and function. The design not only enhances visual appeal but ensures durability and comfort in all weather conditions.
