Inspired by the much-loved natural Australian landscape, the design style combines elements of traditional coastal design with modern, contemporary touches and often features natural materials like stone, timber and brick to create an organic look. It also incorporates elements of minimalism, with clean lines and a focus on creating open, airy spaces that are flooded with natural light. Picture a low-pitched roofline, weatherboard cladding, casement windows and a light-coloured steel roof.
